An open-air affair on the hottest block in town begins at the parking lot entrance between the 331 Club and the Modern Café where you will check in and receive your ticket for complimentary drinks from Patron tequila, Ultimat vodka and Naked Grouse Scotch whisky.  Then explore the neighborhood and discover complimentary tastes and special deals meant just for you.  We’ll even give you a map!

Everyone’s favorite radio station 89.3 The Current kicks the evening off with DJ Barb Abney spinning a guest set outside on the METRO Mainstage, warming us up for local darlings Solid Gold.

Enjoy a free Naked Grouse martini and music from Ryan Paul and the Ardent at The 331 Club.  Plus $1 off tap beers and half-priced bottles of wine.

Stop by the Modern Café tent for classic American favorites prepared with French techniques and local ingredients plus half-priced drinks at the bar inside.

Experience a free “social beer” and sample some tasty wines while getting to know Sam and Joe at the Northeast Social.

A Northeast landmark with a stunning interior, Erte & the Peacock Lounge will be offering half-priced tap beers, $2 off mixed drinks, $1 off glasses of wine and a half-priced appetizer menu.

Stop in the highly anticipated Anchor Fish & Chips and congratulate Kathryn and Luke on their cool new joint,  Enjoy a free sample of the best chips in town and a free pint of Guinness!

The Ritz Theater offers us a very special evening of mini-performances to give you a taste of what they do best.  Catch excerpts from Ballet of the Dolls’ Pas de Quatre: an homage to the Ballet Russe; The Sirly Girly Show, featuring Foxy Tann and The Gentleman King, two of the Twin Cities most popular cabaret performers. Shows at 6:30 and 7:15.

Rogue Buddha Gallery
hosts Metro’s INSTANT COUTURE, live fashion, hair and makeup styling by the Twin Cities’ top creative minds.  Stop in and get a glimpse of local fashion at its finest. Designers Calpurnia Peach and stores Cliché and ShopFatal.com will team up with hair and makeup artists from Jon Oulman Salon to transform a model from girl-next-door to queen of couture.

Shuga Records debuts its new in-store stage with a great lineup of local musicians, including Metro Magazine favorite Unknown Prophets, as well as Guy Storm, No Bird Sing, Bethlarso, Pharaohs of Rhythm, Lost in Prague, Chelsea Boys, The Goondas, Unicorn Dream Attack, Paul Metsa and Sketch Tha Cataclysm.

Otogawa-Anschel Design-Build is a small, award-winning design-build firm devoted to green building and urban living. Anyone who’s a winner will be entered into a drawing to win $800 in design consulting, a trip to Nicaragua (courtesy of ToursToNicaragua.com), and other cool stuff.

We have even more surprises in store and along the way you’ll discover your new favorite things in the neighborhood’s unique shops and galleries such as iWare, Easel Street, Spinario, 212 Pottery and Frank Stone Gallery.
