Mu Performing Arts presents Little Shop of Horrors
book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken
based on the film by Roger Corman, screenplay by Charles Griffith
Love, deception, murder, and aliens! The classic musical comedy has it all, and Mu serves it up with a new twist: an all Asian American cast. Down-and-out florist Seymour Krelbourn seeks fame and love by keeping a rare plant, which turns out to be a bloodthirsty man eater.
Featuring Randy Reyes, Sara Ochs, Eric “Pogi” Sumangil, Kurt Kwan, Molly Pan, Katie Bradley, Sheena Janson, and Suzie Juul. Directed by Jennifer Weir. Musical direction by Denise Prosek.
