Eclectic Edge Ensemble presents For Sport’s Sake, featuring the choreography of Karis Sloss and guest choreographer Zoe Sealy

After last summer’s celebrated real vs. movie love send-up, Reeling Over Love, the Eclectic Edge Ensemble returns to the Ritz stage to explore, through their signature theatrical antics, how sports inform and shape our country’s culture. As more and more cultural focus is put on high school football stats, who’s hosting the Olympic Games and what sort of scandals athletes are finding themselves in, For Sport’s Sake begs the question; Do sports have the power to solve all of the world’s problems? With a second half that explores this question, and the a first half of the evening featuring three new works by Karis Sloss and a premiere work by local jazz dance legend Zoe Sealy, For Sport’s Sake again delivers an evening of dance true to the company’s namesake; eclectic.

General admission: $15.  Tickets on sale by phone, at the door, or by clicking here.
