Mr. & Mrs. Salvador Dali invite you to share in a 5-course Dalinian dance conquest of the palate. A once-in-a-lifetime creative mash-up prepared and served by Susana diPalma of Zorongo Flamenco and Myron Johnson and Robert Skafte, of Ballet of the Dolls, this original work is based on the cookbook written by Salvador Dali, entitled Les Diners de Gala, a play on the name of his lover. The now out-of-print book contains recipes for everything from shellfish to aphrodisiacs to vegetables to desserts. Look for an analogous variety of Surreal dances and music from these masters of glamorous (and sometimes absurd) dance theatre.
Saturday evening’s performance will be followed by a gala benefiting Zorongo and the Dolls: don’t miss the live salsa band, cash bar stocked with Spanish reds, and maybe a lobster straight out of Dali’s outrageous imagination!
Tickets are $27, general admission. Cabaret tables seat four and include a bottle of wine ($125 per table/$150 on Saturday).
Saturday’s Gala tickets (performance + after party) are $45 or $30 for the gala only.
